In a move that brought heated criticism from corrupt democrats, Donald Trump promised during the election to bring an end to rampant illegal immigration.
His major plan was to build a wall across the U.S.-Mexican border, which would curtail the vast majority of illegal immigrants that enter our country. But the problem still persists within our borders. Millions of illegals threaten the lives of Americans every day. Yet they are free from prosecution and deportation because of the tyranny of sanctuary cities.
Trump has promised to bring an end to sanctuary cities, so that our law enforcement agencies can properly apprehend and prosecute illegal immigrant, especially those who commit violent crimes.
And it looks like—even before he takes office—other Republicans are following his lead.
From Joe For America:
Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Lou Barletta introduced the Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Act (H.R. 83), a bill intended to halt all federal funds going to states or localities that defy enforcement of federal immigration laws…
The Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Act bans any federal funding for a minimum period of one year to any state or local government, which has a policy or law that obstructs them from aiding immigration authorities in enforcing federal immigration law.
According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), about 300 such localities in the United States are considered sanctuary cities. Barletta’s bill instructs the attorney general to compile an annual list of these cities and issue a report on any particular state or locality upon request from a member of Congress.
Here’s Bill O’Reilly knocking it out of the park on the current state of sanctuary cities (can you say ‘extinct’?):
Nothing gets politicians moving like a lack of funds. Most states in the U.S. depend on large contributions from the federal government to keep going. That cash pays for numerous things, such as social programs, schoolings, and construction projects. The withdrawal of federal funding would cripple many communities, a strong incentive for cities to stop sanctuary city practices.
Make no mistake, the reason democrats are so strongly in favor of sanctuary cities is because of their larger protection of illegal immigration. They are under the delusion that letting in more illegals will help them in elections, as those illegals will be more disposed to vote for democrats in elections–even though they cannot legally vote.
Yeah, because that worked so well for them in that last election.
The bottom line is most Americans–liberal and conservative–do not want illegal immigration jeopardizing the lives of their loved ones and depriving them of work. Not only that, but weak immigration policy creates opportunity for drug dealers, gun runners, and terrorist to sneak into our country.
Thankfully, though, that will come to an end soon.LIKE our Facebook page: SourcesNews
