Well, I’ll say this about Clinton staffer Jen Palmieri: She’s gotten a lot more honest since she left the Clinton campaign.
In an appearance at Yale University this week, the former Clinton spokeswoman said that former President Obama “looked like kind of a jacka**” during his 2014 appearance on Zach Galifianakis’ “Between Two Ferns,” according to The Daily Caller.
Palmieri, the Democrat presidential nominee’s director of communications, is perhaps best known to our readers as the author of a horrendously inappropriate WikiLeaks email that disparaged Christians in general and Catholics in particular.
During her appearance at Yale, she was discussing the appearance of both her candidate and the president on the surreal fake online interview/sketch comedy series.
“We did Zach Galifianakis’ ‘Between Two Ferns’ to get people interested in health care,” Palmieri told the crowd. “(Hillary Clinton) did the deadpan face even better than Obama. The first cut of Obama, he looked a little too real; he looked kind of like a jacka**.”
Of course, the most powerful man in the world is always going to like his party’s spirit animal when he appears on a parody interview show featuring the guy who played the least functional member of the Wolfpack in “The Hangover” series. However, upon further inspection, Hillary didn’t do a whole lot better.
According to Breitbart, during Clinton’s interview, she tried to answer questions like, “What happens if you become pregnant? Are we going to be stuck with Tim Kaine for 9 months? How does this work?” and “(a)s secretary, how many words per minute could you type?” in a deadpan manner.
And this is how they decided to push health care. During her appearance at Yale, Palmieri said she believed that “sexism” and the “irrational hatred that hangs around her” were some of the reasons Hillary lost. I mention those two details in conjunction with each other because apparently, former Secretary Clinton possesses the preternatural ability to surround herself with servile toadies who lack even a rudimentary ability to put facts together.
That wasn’t the only whopper of self-deception to escape Palmieri’s mouth during the Yale appearance. Discussing her time with the Obama administration, she talked about “manufactured press stories” the administration had to deal with, “like the (Obamacare) website melting down, Ukraine, and the horrible ISIS beheadings.”
Yeah, those horrible manufactured Islamic State group beheadings. I wonder how they managed faking those videos. Final Cut Pro? I’d also like to point out that the fact that the Russian occupation of Crimea and the Ukrainian crisis are seen as a “manufactured press story” by Obama’s communications director must come as news to residents of that beleagured corner of the world.
So, we know Palmieri is still full of it. However, at least we can give her credit for realizing when the former president did, in fact, look like a jacka**.
