For the past few months, liberals have been living in a complete and utter state of denial over the fact that President Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election.
Michael Garland Elliott’s hatred of Trump was so bad that the last thing he heard before he died was about Trump — he was told a lie that Trump had been impeached, CBS News reported.
“Upon hearing that he took his final, gentle breath, his earthly work concluded,” his obituary stated, noting that it was his ex-wife who gave him the bit of fake news.
The Washington Post noted that his ex-wife has defended her actions by stating that she wanted her husband to die with a “happy thought,” so she lied to him.
“I told him that everything’s going to be all right,” Teresa Elliott. “And Donald Trump has been impeached.”
His full obituary, posted on The Oregonian, noted that he was still close to his ex-wife. The obituary even went so far as to call her his “best friend.”
“Mike ran out of family long ago and is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Teresa Elliott. Though their marriage ran aground, their friendship only grew stronger and hers was the last voice Mike heard,” it read.
It’s truly sad that Elliott’s ex-wife couldn’t think of anything else to say to say to him before he passed other than a complete lie — that Elliott probably knew was a lie.
Undoubtedly there was something else that she could have told him to make his last few moments on earth comfortable, but instead she went with a classic liberal delusion.
