NAACP Demanding Americans Boycott NFL Unless Anthem Hater Kaepernick Paid Millions Of Dollars

Two or more can play at this boycott game.

The Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Colored People (NAACP) has threatened to boycott the NFL unless national anthem hater Colin Kaepernick is given a new contract by Sept. 17.

“There will be no football in the state of Georgia if Colin Kaepernick is not on a training camp roster and given an opportunity to pursue his career,” Griggs recently told Fox 5 in Atlanta.

“This is not a simple request. This is a statement. This is a demand,” Griggs threatened.

So the NAACP thinks it can put a financial gun to the head of the Atlanta Falcons, or any other NFL team, and force one of them to sign on with Kaepernick?

It could just work if the NFL and its corporate franchises suddenly develop a case of low political testosterone.

The NAACP reportedly garnered 170,000 signatures in an online petition in support of a boycott ultimatum.

According to CBS Sports, the NAACP is planning to hold a rally at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 17, “which will be the same day the Falcons will be playing their home opener at their new $1.5 billion stadium.”

“If Mr. Kaepernick is not allowed to pursue his career, then on September the 17th, at 5 o’clock,” Griggs further threatened, “we are going to have the world’s largest tailgate, and that tailgate will not go into Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We will take a knee, and we will continue to take a knee on the NFL until they act with one voice.”

A size 13 foot up the backside of the NAACP and all national anthem protesters would be more preferable. This fete could be accomplished with an even larger boycott by patriotic NFL fans.

It’s a safe bet the NFL will side with the biggest boycott. In the final snap, however, patriotic fans and lovers of the national anthem will likely come out the winners.

And Kaepernick? He can go find a job selling hotdogs and beer at NFL games, for all that we care.

Do you think a boycott of the NFL by the NAACP will force a contract signing with Colin Kaepernick?
