OUCH: Jimmy Kimmel Gets Bad News Just After Having Hillary as Guest

The unemployment lines may be full of people kicked out of their jobs by President Barack Obama’s policies. However, very few expected them to include Cousin Sal.

According to the Washington Examiner, though, that’s what happened. An appearance by presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC got apocalyptically poor ratings.

Yes, apparently, Clinton’s pandering to what’s supposed to be her natural constituency failed spectacularly. Who knew?

“In comparison, NBC’s ‘Late Night’ with Seth Meyers tied it in the ratings, despite starting an hour later,” The Hillreported. “Monday’s “Late Night” guests were Henry Winkler of ‘Happy Days’ fame and actress Grace Gummer.”

That’s right, a sclerotic Fonzie and an actress you’ve never heard of beat Hillary Clinton. And that’s not all.

“Kimmel’s 0.4 rating with Clinton lost to a Nick At Nite rerun of ‘Friends’ — a program that went off the air more than a decade ago — and ‘Teen Mom Season 6’ on MTV,” The Hill reported.

In all fairness, though, I think that was the episode of “Teen Mom” where Brandee got into an argument with her mom and Child Services over whether she could use the packet of frozen baby formula to soothe her liposuction wounds even though her daughter Miekayleeah hadn’t eaten in days. That was a key show.

A 0.4 rating is pretty catastrophic, even for a show that intersperses Charlie Sheen’s voice with “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

But, let’s face it: Hillary Clinton is boring. She always has been. This is why a colicky senator who often looked like he should be in a sanitarium managed to challenge her for the Democrat presidential nomination.

Oh, and then there’s this: “Republican nominee Donald Trump‘s last appearance on Kimmel on May 25 registered an 0.6 rating — 33 percent higher than Clinton’s.”

Not exactly a rout, but something to consider. And certainly a great deal more than what Hillary Clinton did.

Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that Hillary Clinton isn’t worth watching, no matter what show she’s on.
